Project
I read Crime & Punishment during the summer of 2024 and was instantly fascinated by the writing style of Dostoevsky. The way he dives so deeply into the psyches of his characters makes the reader exceptionally aware of the growth, or in this case, discomposure of the characters throughout the novel. I created this book jacket shortly after reading the novel to display my take on the iconic book. The jacket features classic distressed text, a blood-red color scheme, and a connection between the murderer and victim on the front and back cover.
